As Above, So Below

We often see the world as made up of polar opposites: good/bad, us/them, right/wrong. This can quickly become dangerous when we carelessly apply it to things we are unfamiliar with, especially other people. What seem like opposing sides are in reality two ends of the same string, shades of the same experience. This image asks us to see the valleys as part of, and necessary for, the peaks. It asks us to forgo the easy, oftentimes lazy, polarizing of life, and instead see the part in context of the whole.
